There’s something about the preparation of running that gets my blood pumping and my muscles ready to run.
It’s especially prevalent when I put on what I call real running gear because I feel more hardcore. The fit is better and I know that I am going to be able to move and not have my running clothes get in the way.
The last part of suiting up is pulling on my matching socks (yes running gear is a separate wardrobe for me and takes up almost as much room as the rest of my clothes combined!) and tie my shoes, I know it’s time.
Time to run.
