What I really hope that they will take from this process is the ability to navigate their minds around the world in the future — to be able to recall Iran is bordered by Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq when these countries continue to influence world events over the next decade. I hope that they will be able to make connections in history, geography, and the present as they drive down the I81 of their life. I also hope that drawing the world in eighth grade will in some small way help make them more confident and less anxious as they cruise their future.
