Running in Style

It’s been a week since I’ve been back in the saddle of running. I took a week of cross training and other types of cardio because of my pinched  nerve, but after a week, I just couldn’t take it anymore.

My second run back, I decided to push a little further and see if I was truly recovering or whether I just thought I was (this is not what any physical therapist or doctor would recommend!). It was a tough run, but I felt strong and when I made it to the end, I wanted to jump up and down and yell, “Yipee!”

I didn’t for fear of scaring the small children, but I did feel like I was back to running in style.

I don’t mean to say that this style I talk about it particularly inspiring to others or that it is the right way to run, I just mean that it’s mine.

My style of running.

My style of enjoying the world around me.

My style of living.

I guess that means it’s time to start looking at some training schedules : )
