Yet the truth remains that most of our classrooms remain rooted firmly in the 20th century. Many, perhaps most, of our teachers do not use 21st century tools. There are various reasons for this. They may lack the necessary training. They may not see how they are relevant. But I think it comes back to their fundamental world view.For another group of teachers, the situation is a little trickier. They have gotten the Macedonian text message and are prepared to share the digital gospel. They are eager. They attend hours – days even – of professional development to prepare themselves for the new educational paradigm. Then they try to use those tools in their classroom.YouTube: blocked.
