Teacher Appreciation Week

Why does Apple succeed is a question that businesses are asking themselves constantly. Sam’s on the right track in recognizing the note that Apple gives its employees on the first day.

As I’ve heard story after story of teacher appreciation weeks, I’ve been astounded by the fact that administrators and parents think on day without eating with their students suffices in recognizing the hard work and long hours that teachers put in.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to have a break (I’m sure mothers would agree today), but does one day or one week really make up for way that teachers sacrifice and the fact that they are constantly wondering whether they need more pencils as they are grocery shopping?

I think if you asked teachers, they would probably accept a thank you given at the beginning or end of each day over a catered lunch once a year.
