I am not a winter runner who needs to wear gloves. My shirt sleeves are usually long enough for me to make do, but I found out quickly once I started running that my ears were had to be covered.
There was something about the wind whipping around my ears that made me want to give up, but once I found the right ear gear, I was ready to roam again!
I tried these ear muff type first, but because my head was so small (or at least the back of my head was), they kept slipping off. Also, because they have the adjustable band, I found them hard to wash and I really wanted to wash them after a long run!

Polar Fleece Headband!
Currently, I am using a polar fleece earband and it really works great! I can have my headphones underneath and there isn’t too much pressure. It doesn’t slip off as you heat up and it is easy to wash and dry.

This will be my follow up purchase once the polar fleece headband wears out, which I am fully expecting it to do because I have worn it so much. Nike Dri-Fit line holds your heat in as you are running, and drys as you sweat, so that you avoid chaffing.
