Although I am a huge advocate for digital literacy, what I do not advocate is how that looks in your classroom.
I can tell you how it worked in one of my classrooms with one group of students and one school context, but that’s not your classroom and not your context.
I can provide examples of how other teachers are integrating technology into their classrooms, but that’s what works for them.
You have to decide what works for you.
Here’s another example of an interesting way teachers are integrating technology:
In our classrooms, we have incorporated values, beliefs and strengths that have been set in place to help our students succeed. By bringing Jerome into our classes, we have allowed our students to have experiences they would not normally be able to have. They communicate with him via videos, through photos and, soon, through live chat.
Would this work for you?
