There was a trend on Twitter identified not by a hash tag, but rather a yellow sign placed in the bottom left corner of your Twitter profile picture that looked a little like this:
I understand that this provides a continuity and a marketing symbol for the movement, but the Save our Schools March was in July. Why are these still a part of Twitter profile pictures?
Even worse, some teachers now have the sign and another banner across the corner, so their whole faces are covered by marketing emblems.
I support teachers being on Twitter, but please be yourself.
Don’t cover yourself up with signs and marketing symbols so that no one can see YOU.
