As our four-year-old saw the full moon through the telescope this weekend, she uttered just one word, “Wow!” There’s something to this time of year where the veil between this world and the next is so thin. The skies are bright with different hues and the moon and planets are shining bright. It’s raining leaves in a balmy breeze. Everything seems to be whispering slow down and marvel at the beauty that surrounds you.
It’s hard to do in the midst of the hustle and bustle of fall schedules and parties and commitments, but still the call comes each morning in the fog of the changing season. Stop and look.
It’s the magic and mystery of a new season or the pure delight of children dressing up and playing. Even though the world is unsettled and uncertain, still the winds whisper, “Let go.”
